Grade 2 Clinican

The role: 

​

Reclaim Therapy are a growing team and are on the look out for the right therapist to work in the eastern region of Melbourne. (hours and locations to be negotiated). The role includes comprehensive assessment, interventions and supportive applications to relevant funding bodies, as well as clinical support to consolidated practice therapists and new graduates. 

​

Opportunities for career advancement is integrated into the role with both clinical and operational pathways encouraged. 

​

Opportunities to work with our sister company in Health Promotion and Clinical Education.

​

Areas of clinical practice include: Advanced home modifications, assistive technology, client and carer support and education and task development. 

​

Experience working in community is required, with experience interfacing with MAC, TAC and NDIS desirable. 

​

Provide quality, safe, evidence based and creative Occupational Therapy Services.

Essential Criteria

​

The successful applicant will have:

​

Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration. 

Demonstrated current specialist knowledge  and skill in community based Occupational Therapy

Evidenced delivery of evidence based interventions including Advanced Home Assessment and Modifications, Assistive Technology, Seating and Wheeled mobility and an interest in Vehicle Modifications. 

Special interest in generalised clinical skills or a specific area of interest relevant to community service delivery.

Current registration as a SWEP prescriber with credentials preferably within the Amber and Red credentials. 

Current drivers licence and access to vehicle.

Highly Desirable Criteria:

​

Effective self management skills, empathy, cultural awareness, strong communication skills.
